Everyone wants a VO demo,
and for good reason. It's your calling
card, a way to show your prospective client
what you can do. Not to brag, but I
have to say that I get jobs all the time
from folks who listened to a demo and said
something like "please make it sound like
the first part of your business-corporate
demo" or something like that.
Like with everything else
I do concerning VO training, I am very
selective as to who will take on as a demo
client. The reason is it takes a ton
of my time (and yours) and who wants to
waste that valuable commodity on a demo that
will not sell for you. It's going to
be professional and noteworthy or let's not
do it. Fair enough?
